The Imam Ben Abu-Taleb AlQaisi (died 437 AH) is a brilliant Imam in different arts, like Tajwid, Quranic Readings, Tafsir (interpretation), and others. Among these arts is the science of stopping and starting. He has authored a number of books. Therefore, it was necessary to get to know the stance of this honorable Imam about the science of stopping and starting through his writings. One of the most precious and notable ones is his Tafsir that is called Al-Hidaya Ela Bologh Al-Nihaya (guidance to ensure the attainment of the end). The research aims to shed light on the personality of the Imam, the scholar, the researcher, the gnostic, the master of reciters, and the masters of Tajweed. Imam Makki continued to teach the Holy Quran until the last days of his life, during which time he died in Andalusia. Imam Makki is a leader in the art of recitation, the art of Tajweed, and Ulom-Tafsir. This research paper discusses qualities, writings, his contributions to religious sciences of Imam Makki bin Abi Talib, as well as the methodology, style, distinctions, and characteristics of his interpretation.
