Abstract

Tafseer Jalalain is the interpretation of the holy Quran jointly authored by the well-known scholars; Jalal al-Din Sayuṭi and Jalal ad-Din Maḥilli. It had been taught since centuries in the various universities and colleges all over the world. Long debated topics are discussed very briefly in it. Due to its brevity, it is very difficult for the readers to reach its true and original meanings. The writers did not take the objections considerable and passed very quickly to the next debate. Both of the writers had their own specific and to some extent a deviated opinion, deviated from the general convictions of the Ummah. On the other hand there are different opinionsof Islamic scholar in interpretation of “Sifaat Mutashabihaat” and the both Authers have there own specific opinionas wel, this article is included on analyzing of the opinion of Jalallain in the light of selected Tafaseer.
