It has long been known that the abrogation of the verses is always being the part of the sciences of Quran but the differences among the Ulama in the usage of this very word are always there which was accepted by almost everyone. This very phenomenon of abrogation was also present in Hadith literature as happened in Quran. It is necessary for the spiritual evolution of the individual and society. Many matters, in the sciences of Hadith, are based upon Ijtihad which made this very discipline complicated to comprehend. There are many books on this subject that have been written by many of the Ulama. Abrogation, in reality, is the necessary tools for the Islamic Jurist due to its significant impact on different school of thought of Fiqh. An act is annulled by a jurist while the other recognizes it as a Sunnah or Wajib. Hence, this very discipline became important to the cognizance of the sciences of Hadith.
