Abstract

Islam is a universal religion that upholds human rights in the most comprehensive manner. Unlike any other faith, Islam addresses human rights with such emphasis that it condemns exploitation in all its forms and safeguards the rights of individuals to the highest standard. Its concept of human rights is not confined to Muslims alone but applies to all of humanity, acknowledging the inherent dignity and value of every individual, regardless of their religious or cultural background. Islam calls for the establishment of a just and equal society, ensuring that all aspects of human welfare are considered. When the Creator sent humanity to this world, He provided for their needs, guaranteeing their survival and well-being. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), in his Farewell Sermon, proclaimed a universal charter for human rights and global peace, focusing on justice, equality, and respect for all individuals. A distinctive feature of Islam is its balanced approach, rejecting both excess and neglect. For those who do not accept Islamic laws or violate them, specific penalties are outlined, though their application requires a fair and comprehensive process. In this way, Islam champions a society where human rights and justice are respected, fostering harmony and mutual respect among diverse communities.
