Abstract

This research article investigates the principles of Tibb al-Nabawi (Prophetic Medicine) as recorded in Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī and Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, analyzing them in the context of modern biomedical science. The study adopts a qualitative and analytical approach, correlating classical Islamic narrations with contemporary scientific literature. Key elements such as honey, black seed (Nigella sativa), dates, cupping therapy (ḥijāmah), quarantine, and dietary moderation are examined. The findings reveal a significant convergence between Prophetic medical guidance and modern preventive, nutritional, and integrative medicine. However, the study also emphasizes the necessity of contextual interpretation and integration with evidence-based clinical practices. The research concludes that Tibb al-Nabawi provides a holistic health paradigm encompassing physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being.
